Britain's Got Talent judge will be filling in for the presenter when she goes on maternity leave
A huge congratulations is in order for Amanda Holden.
The Britain's Got Talent judge has been confirmed to replace Holly Willoughby on This Morning.
"I'm over the moon to get the chance to present one of my favourite shows on TV and I'm thrilled to be keeping Holly's seat on the sofa warm when she goes off on maternity leave," gushed Amanda.
"I have always been a huge fan of This Morning and love presenting with Phillip [Schofield] so I really can't wait to get started."
Holly, 33, and her co-host Phillip will host their final show on Friday before they break up for the summer.
Between then and the autumn, Eamonn Holmes and Ruth Langsford will be hosting the show.
When Philip finally returns to the small screen after his summer holiday, Amanda, 43, will be by his side.
It's been reported that he had initially wanted his Dancing on Ice co-host Christine Bleakley to replace Holly.
However, ITV bosses opted for Amanda due to her popularity on the channel.
Amanda will be presenting the show for up to a year from September while Holly adjusts to life as a new mum.
