Former Spice Girl thanks fans for love and support on her and her hubby's special day

 

TODAY, Victoria and David Beckham celebrate their 15 year wedding anniversary. 

The most famous couple in the world went public with their romance back in 1997 before tying the knot two years later in an elaborate nuptials covered by Entertain9jar.

Since then, Victoria has established herself as a successful fashion designer, David has played football for some of the best clubs in the world (and let's not forget, launched a range of sexy pants for H&M) and the couple have had four beautiful, fashionable children together. 

Hitting Twitter this morning to acknowledge the couple's marital achievement, the former Spice Girl wrote: "15 beautiful years. We feel so blessed and thankful for your love and support over the years. Such a special day x." 

Before adding: "Thank you for your beautiful messages.Its such a special day for us both.Your love and support means so much x vb."

So to celebrate the impressive mile stone, we take a look back at their love story in pics.

On David and Victoria's big day, the couple truly became the king and queen of showbiz.

They had their own thrones, wore (slightly tacky) crowns and cut their cake with a giant sword.

When Posh Spice decided launch her own solo music career, her hubby supported her every step of the way.

It's rare to see the fashionista and her hubby share an intimate moment, but they were caught at a basketball game in LA looking totally loved up the night before David's 37th birthday.

During a football match at Old Trafford back in 2007, the H&M model gave his wife a quick kiss on the head. 

Victoria, who was going through her stripy blonde highlights phase, flashed her huge diamond rock of an engagement ring and an expensive-looking Cartier watch.

We're guessing this smooch for the half time kiss cam left Brooklyn hiding his face in embarrassment.

The Beckhams took their franchise to new levels when they released a his and hers Intimately Yours fragrance together. 

If nothing else, it was a great excuse to film this sexy advert, which saw the gorgeous pair kissing in an elevator before the doors opened to reveal a slightly ruffled-looking David and Victoria.

Our favourite snap has to be this adorable shot from the day Becks received his OBE from the Queen. 

He was snapped planting a kiss on his wife's nose as he held up his medal. Questionable hair style though.
