The Voice Australia coach cries as she recalls dating the late musician, calls him her 'great love'
KYLIE Minogue dated the late INXS rocker Michael Hutchence 25 years ago.
But time has done little to dampen her feelings towards the man she calls her 'great love'.
During an emotional interview of 60 Minutes, set to air on Sunday, the Australian pop princess can't contain her emotion as she discusses dating the late musician who died in 1997, aged 37.
In a promotional video released by Channel Nine which they describe as 'Kylie at her most intimate', Dannii Minogue's sister cries as she opens up about their two-year romance.
Wearing a sleek black dress for the interview and using dramatic hand gestures, Kylie described their time together as "a mixture of emotions and memories."
"I'd never met anyone like that," she recalls.
Welling up, she continues: "It was great love and it was true heartbreak."
The former Neighbours star shocked her fans when she started dating the wild Australian rock star.
Reflecting on that period of her life back in the late 1980s she said: "I had so many firsts with him."
The couple began dating in 1989 until 1991 when Michael Hutchence ended their affair by phone call after meeting Danish supermodel Helena Christensen.
Kylie's 60 Minutes interview will air on Channel Nine at 8:00pm on Sunday.
