WHILE fans face the long wait for the fifth season of Game of Thrones to come out in 2015, a horde of lookalikes are on hand to help fill the gap.
But, for some fantasy enthusiasts, their connection to the show won't also go into hibernation.
Here are real-life lookalikes of fans' favourite Game of Thrones characters:
Super-fan, Trine Ericzon, 25, is constantly confused for Natalie Dormer, the gorgeous actress who plays Margaery Tyrell in the TV series.
The café worker from Trondheim, Norway, said: "The best reaction I got to my Margaery transformation was at a Comic con event in London.
"Some guys came running down the hallway at me convinced that I was Natalie herself!"
Down to her looks and mannerisms, Ginny DiGuiseppi, 23, from Fort Collins, Colarado is the unbelievable mirror image of Arya Stark, played by Maisie Williams.
The parody video called 'A Character I Used to Know', in which Ginny first debuted her Arya Stark look, went viral amassing over a million hits on YouTube.
Lucy Hinsley, 22, from Brighton, has spent over £2410 to look like the Mother of Dragons, Daenerys Targaryen.
Lucy has hand-made six costumes which are intricately based on costumes worn by the stunning actress, Emilia Clarke.
Ben Karraghan, 25, from Brisbane, Australia is such a deadringer for lovable Samwell Tarley, that even the cast of Game of Thrones have mistaken him for the actor John Bradley.
He said: "I've joked with some of the actors saying they weren't expecting John Bradley to turn up.
"Lena Headey - who plays Cersei Lannister in the show - got me to stand up at the end of a panel at Brisbane Supanova Pop Culture Expo."
Another lookalike who has encountered some humorous responses is Michael T. Coleman, 39.
Michael from Los Angeles, USA, looks like the long-lost twin of Aidan Gillen, who stars as the sneaky Petyr 'Littlefinger' Baelish.
He said: "When I'm in full Littlefinger costume, people do double takes and ask if I'm Aidan Gillen himself.
"Sometimes though people shout, 'You're a bad man!' as they walk by or they come up to me and creepily say 'I don't like you very much.'"
Arya's sidekick, Sandor 'The Hound' Clegane is incredibly impersonated by Andrew Park, 29, from Toronto, Canada.
He was encouraged to imitate The Hound, after mates constantly compared him to actor Rory McCann.
The first photo he uploaded of his impersonation received over 100,000 shares.
Entrepreneur Andrew said: "I first dressed as The Hound for Halloween and everyone really dug it.
"I uploaded the photo online, waiting for it to be crucified by all the hard-core Game of Thrones fans out there. Yet to my surprise, the internet really seemed to like it!"
Simon Berry, 17 from Sydney, Australia is the spitting image of the late King Joffrey of the House Baratheon, played by Jack Gleeson.
The high school student's remarkable resemblance to the sadistic King Joffrey has led to some hilarious reactions.
Simon explained: "People come up to me and ask 'Can I take a photo of me punching you in the face?'"
Meanwhile a mysterious photo of an uncanny Jon Snow lookalike - who goes by the name of 'Faux Snow' - has gone viral.
The real-life double of heartthrob actor, Kit Harrington allegedly hails from Canada. Thousands of fans have gone online to appeal for Faux Snow to reveal himself to the world.
Finally, this dreaded White Walker costume was spectacularly created by designer, Brad Rothwell, 27 from Toronto, Canada.
He is currently working on another personal project, building a dragon skull in the likeness of the dragons seen in the Game of Thrones series.
