CHELSEA and Manchester United are looking to hijack Manchester City's £32million move for Porto and France star Eliaquim Mangala.

The 23-year-old centre-back is set to leave Portugal this summer after a fee was agreed with Manuel Pellegrini's side, but the Frenchman has previously stated that he wants to join Jose Mourinho in west London instead.
Chelsea are in the market for a new defender after selling David Luiz to Paris St-Germain for a whopping £50million, and Mangala would fit the bill perfectly.

City are still confident that they can still wrap up the move, with Roma's Mehdi Benatia their fall-back option, but things could become more complicated after fierce rivals Man Utd threw their hat in ring.
The Red Devils have lost Nemanja Vidic and Rio Ferdinand on free transfers, and after Barcelona expressed their desire to land Borussia Dortmund's Mats Hummels, Louis Van Gaal is hoping he can convince Mangala to pick Old Trafford over the Etihad.
However, both Chelsea and United will be expected to match City's £32million offer on the table, leaving Mangala to decide between the English trio.
