HERO STUFF! Plucky pig tries to escape through slaughterhouse roof to save his bacon #TheElitePartyInJuly #Entertain9jar via @myentertain9jar
THIS is the astonishing moment a pig climbed onto a roof in an attempt to escape slaughter.
The porker escaped from an abattoir after its owner forgot to lock the door on a staircase.
The animal was raised on a free range farm and it is believed the experience of living outdoors gave him the strength to climb on the roof of the slaughterhouse. However, unfortunately for the pig, he was too heavy for the roof's tiles, which collapsed and left him trapped in a hole. Two men lassoed him and brought him down. It is believed the unlucky animal was slaughtered the next day, and his meat used for pork joints. The abbattoir's owner, Zhou Feng, 49, from Fengzhou in China, said: "Farmers’ pigs are much more wild and always run around and cause trouble, but it’s the first time that a pig climbed up the rooftop. "I will only slaughter factory farmed pigs in future, they are far more docile."
