Baby Eric's godmother reveals how the X Factor judge is reacting to parenthood

 

HE said he was "born to be a dad" and now Simon Cowell's best friend Sinitta has revealed the star already wants a second child after embracing fatherhood to son Eric.

During an interview with Phillip Schofield and Holly Willoughby on This Morning  Sinitta said: "Lauren said that he wants more children - he wants a little girl next so we shall see! It's nice to have two." 

Sinitta went on This Morning and opened up about her Godson Eric Cowell and his father Simon [ITV]

Talking about her Godson Eric and what Simon is like as a dad, Sinitta revealed, "Eric has blues eyes, dark hair - amazing. Simon is very tender [with him], he's fascinated... he literally holds him and stares at him and sticks his tongue out and Eric will imitate him back. I'm fascinated watching him with Eric."

And while Simon, 54, once declared he wouldn't be changing any nappies, Sinitta said fatherhood has changed him.

"I won't say mellowed - because he is still naughty and crazy, but he's just very open, very tender," Sinitta continued.

"I'd always known that side of Simon anyway, but everybody else is getting to see that now. He'll say soppy things and then apologise and say 'that was a bit soppy' and then go 'oh, who cares'. It's really sweet."

Sinitta, was on the show to promote her new single So Many Men, So Little Time, but she also opened up on last year's row between her and Simon when the news broke he was going to be a dad.

"We all survived and we're all happy. Eric is adorable and I'm Godmother to Eric as well so that was lovely and I think like all good friendships, we've just kind of weathered the storm and kept going," she admitted.
