LIVERPOOL have already completed the signing of Chile's Barcelona star, and Arsenal and Manchester United target, Alexis Sanchez as question marks hang over the future of Uruguay's World Cup villain Luis Suarez, according to Anfield favourite Phil Thompson.
Sanchez appears to be on his way out of Barcelona after being deemed surplus to requirements by new coach Luis Enrique, and Thompson believes that Rodgers has already pounced to wrap up a move for the versatile forward.
Just yesterday I heard things from people that the Sanchez deal was actually done
Sanchez is valued at £27million by the Catalan giants, and Thompson claims that he has been told the deal is already in the bag for the Merseyside club.
He said: "What will happen to Luis Suarez in the future? Is he angling for a move? Who knows.
"Just yesterday I heard things from people, newspaper guys who are very close to the ground at Liverpool, saying that the Sanchez deal was actually done."
