Clashes with Jale Karaturp have dented the dance instructor's popularity, Steven Goode second favourite to meet Emma Willis outside the house
PAULINE Bennett is the most likely housemate to leave the Big Brother house in tonight's eviction, according to bookies.
The 49-year-old dance instructor entered the compound a fortnight ago as favourite to win this summer's series, but has quickly come unstuck thanks to her fiery outbursts.
So sure are betting experts that the Londoner will get the boot that they are offering odds of 1/50, when just yesterday she was 1/20 to go.
We're not big betters, but that sounds pretty certain to us.
Pauline went down a storm when the show launched on June 5 and the public made her the first 'Power Housemate'.
She gave contestant Mark Byron a £5,000 prize, and granted Helen Wood a pass to the final.
But her rows with housemates – particularly with Jale Karaturp – have led to her popularity plummeting.
She and Helen have been particularly harsh on Jale in recent days (Pauline also nominated Jale to face eviction every week until the show ends).
Steven Goode – who famously shed a tear or two when he was nominated – is second favourite to leave at 12/1.
The other nominees, Marlon Wallen (20/1), Jale (20/1), Ash Harrison (50/1) and Christopher Hall (50/1), are almost certain to stay in the Borehamwood house for another week.
A Paddy Power spokesperson confirmed: "Pauline is pretty much guaranteed to go – none of the other odds are anywhere close."
Last week the bookies correctly predicted that Tamara Stewart-Wood would be first to leave.
Are they right about Pauline? Tune in to tonight's Big Brother live eviction on Channel 5 at 9pm.
