EastEnders actor thanks tabloid for publishing false claims and admits 'I feel terrible'

 

DANNY Dyer was accused of cheating on his partner of 19 years at the weekend.

The EastEnders actor was allegedly pictured naked by a starstruck student who he spent the night with.

Danny has since broken his silence on the latest infidelity claims – published by The Mirror – and dismissed them as "lies".

After choosing to cancel a public appearance at a book signing following the reports, the 36-year-old spoke out about the rumours.

Taking to his Twitter page to apologise to fans, he wrote: "Sorry to those who came to Bluewater today. I feel terrible."

"My family want to thank the Sunday Mirror for making this the best day ever #lies," he added.

Danny's partner – Joanne Mas – also aired her thoughts on social media at the weekend and posted a touching message on Twitter.
