Tulisa's cousin denied attacking George Chittock outside Essex venue but court delivers guilty verdict
DAPPY has been found guilty of assaulting a man outside an Essex nightclub in February.
Tulisa's cousin – who was on trial at Chelmsford Magistrates Court – denied attacking George Chittock in the early hours after a meet and greet event at Chicago's, Chelmsford.
The former Big Brother housemate claimed he assaulted the man in self-defence but the court convicted him this afternoon.
As the verdict was delivered, Dappy held his head in his hands.
Prosecutor Jacqueline Carey had told the court: "It is no defence for anybody, celebrity or otherwise, to say 'I lashed out because he was rude to me'."
Dappy cut a downtrodden figure as he arrived at court this morning without good friend Jim Davidson who had attended the trial yesterday.
