The troubled Mean Girls star is set to relaunch her career with part once played by Madonna

LINDSAY Lohan is set to bring her own brand of mayhem to London on a permanent basis – she's in talks to star in a West End play.
The troubled former teen star, who recently appeared in her own reality show after a court-ordered stint in rehab, wants to join the cast of David Mamet's play Speed The Plough.
The role of Karen was played by Madonna on Broadway in 1988.

A source told The Sun: "Lindsay has been looking for West End plays to prove she's still a serious actress."
Lindsay, 27, has been battling to get her life back on track after battling drug and alcohol abuse.
She has spent recent months living in New York after last year's 90-day stint at the Cliffside clinic.

The Mean Girls actress has rarely been out of the headlines this year. Only recently she claimed that she had secretly suffered a miscarriage after falling pregnant.
She was also left embarrassed when a list of celebrity conquests including Heath Ledger, Orlando Bloom and Colin Farrell was published by an American magazine.
Let's hope that a move to the capital brings happier times.
