MANCHESTER UNITED, Chelsea and Liverpool have been dealt a blow in their efforts to sign both Angel Di Maria and Arturo Vidal.
Arturo Vidal has been at the centre of intense transfer speculation[GETTY]Italian newspaper Tuttosport claim that Juventus have told Real Madrid to include Di Maria in any deal that would see Vidal join Carlo Ancelotti's ranks.
If the reports are true then the Premier League trio would see their chances of landing the World Cup pair dashed.Angel Di Maria's Argentina are on course to advance to the last 16 of the World Cup [GETTY]Persuading Vidal to move to the Bernabeu would satisfy Madrid's need for a tenacious box-to-box midfielder, whilst Di Maria would boost the Italian giants' creative options.
The Chilean's tentative comments over his uncertain future at Juventus raised hopes of an English side landing the 27-year-old.Likewise Di Maria's precarious future in Madrid initiated optimism for Louis Van Gaal and his managerial rivals.
But the news of a La Liga to Serie A exchange may crush their remaining optimism, leaving Jose Mourinho, Brendan Rodgers and Van Gaal to pursue other targets.
