TOTTENHAM and former Southampton boss Mauricio Pochettino is keen on a reunion with Espanyol defender and Manchester United target Hector Moreno.
Moreno has attracted interest from Tottenham and Manchester United[GETTY]Pochettino, who joined Tottenham last month, is looking to make the Mexico international his first signing as he looks to guide Spurs back to European football.
The Argentinian manager previously worked with Moreno during his time at Espanyol, having bought him from AZ Alkmaar in 2011.
The 26-year-old has since become one of the most sought-after centre-backs in La Liga, with United also interested in his services.

Moreno's agent, Eduardo Hernandez, has already revealed that his client is actively looking for another club in the summer, boosting the chances of the Premier League pair."Moreno is leaving Espanyol. He wants to leave and we're looking for another team in Europe," he said.But Pochettino's history with the Mexican, who is currently with the World Cup squad in Brazil, is sure to sway his decision to White Hart Lane.
