SOME of the 800,000 illegal immigrants in Britain are the focus of a new television show.
“Illegal Immigrant and Proud” follows some of those who have risked their lives to journey for a fresh start in Britain.
The show follows on from Channel 5's "Gypsies On Benefits" and will look at those who now operate under the radar of the authorities.
One such individual is Daljit Singh – known as Bobby – has lived in London without permission for almost 20 years.
The Indian national, who has also spent time in prison, lives in a graveyard in Ilford.
But Mr Singh admits that compared to bunking down in a cemetery, prison is an easy life.
He said: "I love to stay in prison. In Thameside we had Sky, so we watched football all day."

Drivers of these lorries who are found to be smuggling immigrants into the country face a fine of up to £2,000 per person discovered.
There are a million and half journeys made by trucks into the country every year, providing ample opportunity for those hoping to hitch a ride to jump on board.
