Cheryl Cole's ex-husband lands in hot water with the police after allegedly throwing champagne over Donatella Panayiotou

ASHLEY Cole is reportedly to be questioned by police over 'attacking' a TV presenter in America.
The Chelsea football player, who is holidaying in Los Angeles with the boys, is said to have 'assaulted' Donatella Panayiotou in a nightclub.

According to the Mirror, Ashley was spotted throwing champagne over the brunette and shouted: "You know what this is for!"
It is thought this then sparked a bust-up between the two, leading for the police to be involved.
A witness revealed: "Donatella was stunned by his outburst. They went at each other and had to be separated."
Donatella and Ashley continued their spat outside of the club before "storming off in different directions".

The 29-year-old told police she was also "pushed and shoved" during their spat of words.

When contacted by the paper, she simply said: "There was an incident and it is now in the hands of the police ­authorities following a formal complaint of assault against Ashley Cole."
