Thomas Cohen's late wife says 'heroin is a bleak drug' just weeks before her death
PEACHES Geldof's last interview has been published today.
The late mum-of-two – who died in April this year – opened up about drugs and the battle she faced each day with her identity.
An initial post-mortem revealed heroin was "likely" to have been involved in her death.
According to reports, a needle was discovered in a drawer at her home in Kent.
In an interview with The Spectator, Pixie Geldof's sister opened up about drugs and her struggle with fame.
Peaches claimed the public thought she would meet the same grisly end as her mother Paula Yates.
"[People are always telling me] I'm going to die like my mother, she's going to end up like her mother."
Later, the writer opened up about drugs and the effect it has on human life, including celebrities such as Philip Seymour Hoffman, who died of a drug overdose.
"Heroin is such a bleak drug," the late 25-year-old said.
"It always makes me so sad to hear about people like [Philip Seymour] Hoffman who were real masters and also family men who were just wasted by the constant, gnawing obsession with it. All heroin users seem to have the same core internal pain though."
Peaches' body was found on 7th April at the home she shared with her husband Thomas Cohen and their sons, Astrala and Phaedra, in Wrotham, Kent.
