GIANLUIGI BUFFON has returned to the Italy starting line-up while Arsenal target Mario Balotelli continues to spearhead the attack for their Group D game against Costa Rica (8pm).

Buffon missed Azzurri's 2-1 win against England with an ankle injury, but has been passed fit to take on Costa Rica.

Balotelli continues to lead the line up front for Italy after his impressive showing against England.

Meanwhile, Joel Campbell has retained his starting spot for Costa Rica.
