And the striker has no plans to return to the Premier League next summer, amid interest from Barcelona.

According to Spanish paper Sport, Suarez has told friends he is ready to quit Liverpool for the La Liga giants.

Suarez is believed to have confided in those close to him of his desire to join Barca over the phone.

Barca hope to complete a deal for £56million but the Reds are likely to hold out for more money.
